Or What You Will

Everyone around me just seems to be emo recently.

Many things have happened, but most amazing thing that happened, I suppose, is that I discovered stuff about life, stuff which I knew existed but not in my reality, I guess. Small things, but big in their own way.

Friends. Friends spill out of every corner, be they boyhood chums, police buddies, mutual aquaintances, loves, family friends and what not. Some are good for casual chatting, some are meant for more, and some you just have an innate ability to trust above all else. It's not easy finding friends like that, and it's God's private gift to you that you do possess them. Thankfully, I do have a couple of them, who've stuck by, through all sorts o' stuff, rubbish or emo, serious or not. Guess this has to come out, even though this post's probably gonna be flooded with a tonne of dumb-arse comments... =) Without them, dreams are just dreams (literally), and nothing more than a passing cloud. I hope everyone reading this does try to realise a dream or two, and understand that to build on a vision, and to plan for a future, is more exhilarating and exciting than you can possibly imagine.

On another note, there are just some people in the world that you just can't understand, no matter how hard you try, and some people whom just can't understand you. I for one, cannot for the life of me understand how some people can talk trash to everyone around them, but daren't even face up to a confrontation, and wimp out at the first opportunity. It's ridiculous how a person at the bottom of the barrel can actually assume that he's the cream on top, and act as if he's worth the price of the most expensive cheese. Jeez, wake up, and smell the fart-bombs, you donut!

Sorry, there're just a couple o' types of people in the world I can't stand. And you're one of them, punk.

Colosso's out. We're ready. Give us all you got!

Miss you baby. Very very very very much! =(

Yet Another Quick Update in Our Lives

Dear all,

Must apologise, for the few people that actually know this blog exists! Given that the 3 of us are the slackest jabronis around, and that the last post was more than a month ago, I'm inclined to offer a hearty apology, and a sincere beratement to my two comrades who've yet to surface themselves on this blog in a while... Ah, I ramble.

Anyway, so so much has happened in the past month or so, that I don't think it's possible to jot it all down, given that I'm shacked out and lazy as an overweight rich boy on a luxury bed. Firstly, the dinner at Shin. That was one of the best, (local) dinners I've had this year, with perfect friends and conversation, coupled by sensational food! Never mind the fact that we spent enough money to pay all the cardinals in the Vatican to tap-dance for us. Really hope you enjoyed it, Rach! This one's for you!

Our 2nd Taste Test was by far the more daunting of the two, with a tougher, older, more critical crowd, and yet... WE SURVIVED! Glad our efforts paid off, and we got relatively, and sometimes grudgingly positive comments, with reunions with old teachers and all. Look forward to seeing you again, Ms Neo! =D
It's definitely a path worth striding on, despite the obstacles and heavy cost of taking this road.

The Dark Knight was without a doubt the best movie of the year. Sounds cliched, but Heath Ledger is really the best of them all. Hope his soul rests easy up there! Don't think there'll ever be a Joker like him, and given that Batman's been around for donkey years, that's saying something. Absolutely riveting performance, I say!

That's all for now, I guess, till next time, amigos, adios!

Don't really use this blog for this, but I'm really missing Cyn so so so much! Man, still can't understand the effect that that girl has on me! Come back soon, please! =(

Success is but a few steps away!

Well, there's been nuthin' new for a while, but a lotta stuff's been happening lately though.

14th June: First successful taste test! It's been nerve-wracking, and lotsa work's been put into it,
but we did it in the end, so bring on the rest, we'll take it on! =D Feedback's been
good and useful, and we'll try to work on them, as much as we can, promise!

21st June: Kung Fu Panda's good shit! Hahaha.. Really good, and free movie as well. However,
fact that the tickets were for a charity for the Breastfeeding Women's Society meant
squealing babies, exasperated parents and tram parking lots in the cinema... Makes
me wonder why parents would bring their babies and toddlers to watch a movie
about cute li'l animals beat the living crap outta each other, however cute they look...

22nd June: Just came back from a class outing with my 33/05 homies! Damn man, CS: Source
has never been more fun than watching strangers join our game and getting the
daylights smacked out of them, eh Koan Ge? Hehehe... Good fun, good fun! We
should do it soon man! Whoohoo! =)

Anyway, it's been good fun so far, and I at least, am looking forward to an action-packed month and a half to come, with shit hitting the roof, and falling on those unlucky enough to be standing under. Have a great week all!

Of Birthdays and Celebrations

Well well well! Just a quick update in the life of Xi-Wei, and a li'l of Andrew and Farand as far as I know...

1. It was my birthday on the 26th! Had an awesome time staying at M Hotel, with the can-buy-a-house-with-two-dogs tab at the J Restaurant in the hotel, and the Lychee Martinis and the Cosmos at the J Bar! Music was decent, ambience was good, company and drinks was fantastic! Johnny boy, the next time you're going ta J Bar, you have but to say the word... and I'll see if I wanna go. M Hotel is a cool, trendy, sexy place to go, if you're feeling reasonably wealthy and wanna a slick place to chill.

2. Te-pastry by KevinBakeries! Found a new awesome place to chill with my homies, with superb and discounted food, and a possible close link to in future...;-) Never mind that he happens to be my uncle, it's sexily good, from an unbiased point of view! For those staying in the East, it's the new cafe in the condo Makena. Pizzas, scones and apple pie will never look the same outside again.

3. Ed-Bangers@Zouk! Just came back from the Ed-Bangers event at Zouk last night, and I swear, the crowd in Zouk's getting kinda weird. Music was awesome to the core (Uffy and Sebastian were so damn good, I swear, God was nodding his head), but the people were kinda a disappointment.
First off, there were too many guys.
Second, a portion of those guys were there BECAUSE there were too many guys.
Third, there were a buncha losers who kept trying to be the center of the crowd, and when that didn't work out that well, tried diving to create the center.
Fourth, the Ang Moh chicks were pretty damn hot, but were making out with ang moh guys instead of each other... the price of drinks must have gone up.
On hindsight though, there were a few consolations to the whole night, one being that I chilled with cousins whom I've never chilled with before, despite being good friends all our lives, and will definitel chill with again! Secondly, my cousin's friend was pretty much the second sweetest girl in the world, if not for my Cynthia! (Yes, definitely. I'm sure of it. No doubt about that.) Lastly, Zion Road Char Kway Teow. A $5 plate, with $1 extra hum.

Life is good. Let's keep it that way, shall we peeps? Holla!

Alright, so since wei is complaining he's lonely here, I shall grace this blog.

Hello.

Number 1, I am emo, like E-M-O emo. Graduation and all, basically it's 2 hours of clapping and then you coming to the realisation that IT'S TIME TO MOVE ON BITCH AND GET ON WITH THE REST OF YOUR LIFE.

So I was thinking, we should visit this place at vivo - Superdog. I think that the fast food place has an interesting menu... worth checking out.

And plus I really want to go into Malaysia this June, just for kicks (and maybe some food).

Great Singapore Sale is coming soon!

Home Is Where The Heart Is

Alright, so i just came back from Penang today, and I've eaten enough to last me through the rest of police life and a large chunk of my uni life, and probably enough oil in this trip to last 3 generations of my offspring. The Penang Char Kway Teow and the Lor Bak and the Chendol and the Orh Luak's probably the most awesome hawker food I've eaten in my life (note the fat content in all that... Makes me the next Michelin Man!), but I'm happy to be home!

This being said, I have an interview tomorrow which I only knew about just now, but ah well. And I got work tomorrow! Damn... We'll see what it brings, i guess. Man, this week has been filled so much food and stuff, with hot dogs with my bros, hawker food with my family, that it's time, high time, to do some soul-searching and self-reflection.

Which means running. Lotsa running.

Can't wait to see mah babeh tomorrow! =)

Waiting for more dogs ta come, eh handsomes? =)
